Information for Foreigners
How to get to Valle de Bravo?
We are pleased to inform you that we will organize a bus for our guests traveling from abroad. The bus will depart from Mexico City on the morning of Friday, October 31, taking everyone to Valle de Bravo, and will provide a return trip on Sunday, November 2 in the afternoon at 4:00 PM. Guests coming from abroad who wish to use the transportation service, please confirm via WhatsApp.
Where to stay in Valle de Bravo?
The wedding will be held at Ave Venue, located outside the center of Valle de Bravo. For greater comfort, we suggest guests coming from abroad stay in the center. This way, you can enjoy exploring the streets and surroundings of Valle de Bravo on foot, both the day before and the day after the wedding, without needing to use vehicles.
Will there be activities on the days before and after the wedding?
For guests arriving in Mexico before our wedding, we have organized a series of exciting activities during the week prior to the event. From Saturday, October 25 to Wednesday, October 29, we have prepared an itinerary to explore Mexico City and its surroundings, giving you the opportunity to experience the local culture and sights. Thursday, October 30 will be a free day, giving everyone a moment to rest and relax before our trip to Valle de Bravo on Friday, October 31. Once your attendance is confirmed, we will send you the planned itinerary as well as a document on what to visit in Mexico.
Will there be an Icebreaker?
Yes! The Icebreaker will be on Wednesday, October 29 at 6:30 PM at Azul’s house. This event is designed for all international guests to meet and start enjoying together before the wedding. It will be an excellent opportunity to break the ice and start creating memories!
When to arrive in Mexico?
This is a question many have asked us, and we know it depends on everyone's availability. However, our suggestion is that you consider dedicating at least 10 days to your visit in Mexico, considering that the wedding will be on the outskirts of Mexico City. You can opt to arrive on the Thursday before the wedding weekend or, if you prefer, arrive a few weeks in advance and take the opportunity to explore more of what Mexico has to offer. For those wishing to explore Mexico City, we will be delighted to show you some of its charms during the week before the wedding.
Is there anything I should be aware of when traveling to Mexico?
If you use taxis, make sure they are official or request a taxi through trusted apps (like Uber). Avoid taking taxis directly on the street, especially in areas you are unfamiliar with. Although tourist areas are usually safe, it is important to take precautions. If you have any questions about where to go or how to get around, don't hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to help you.
